Packaging designed to curtail the sale!
Imagine the creative briefs: design packaging that causes pause for consumers at the checkout. This week the Australian government passed legislation requiring tobacco companies to follow strict new packaging standards to do just that. The only differentiation across packaging is the featured malady to which smoking is known to be the culprit. The goal: reduce the percent of Australians who smoke from 15% to 10% by 2016.
